Dave Graham

The Magician of the Rock: A Climbing Legend

Dave Graham is an absolute icon and one of the most technically skilled climbers in modern climbing. For over two decades, the American has been a dominant force among the world’s elite in both bouldering (up to 8C+/V16) and sport climbing (up to 9a+). Known for his extremely creative climbing style and his tireless campaign against “grade inflation” and the artificial alteration of rock faces, Dave has made first ascents of hundreds of extremely difficult routes worldwide—including legendary milestones such as “The Story of Two Worlds” (8C) in Ticino. He is a true free spirit who continually redefines the limits of what is possible on the rock.

"Anyone who knows me knows that I analyze everything—every hook, every grip, and even what I put into my body. For me, V18Power is an absolute game-changer on the rock. When you’re giving it your all for days on end on your projects at the hardest grades, your joints and muscles need exactly this kind of support to be ready again the next day."

Between tough lines and the perfect lens

Maximum finger strength meets a keen eye for the perfect moment: Greg is an 8b boulderer and is always on the lookout for his next challenge on the rock. In addition to spectacular first ascents, his climb of “Mother Night” (8b) in Göschenen (CH) ranks among the absolute highlights of his career so far—an achievement of which he is particularly proud. When he’s not bouldering on the world’s toughest routes, he captures the magic of the sport behind the lens as a passionate amateur photographer.

"The combination of whey, collagen, and Boswellia serrata is truly brilliant. Since I boulder frequently and intensely—and I’m not exactly young anymore 😉—I used to experience severe pain in my finger joints and elbows at times. These symptoms have now completely disappeared, and I feel that the protein has played a major role in that."

Central Switzerland is his home; there's hardly a boulder there that he doesn't know and hasn't climbed yet.

"I prefer to drink the shake during or after my workout to build strength more effectively and recover faster."

Competition. Young. Hungry.

A competitive athlete who prefers to boulder outdoors.

"My favorite thing to do is just make myself a protein shake with unsweetened almond milk and 50 g of Mountain Chocolate. I drink it after my workout so I'll be better recovered the next day and ready to go full throttle again."
